Literally NO ONE works like any text book says. I see this with every set of labs I review. It’s why “your labs look normal” even though you still feel awful.
I ESPECIALLY see this with thyroid clients (including myself). Doctors diagnose thyroid disorders based solely on TSH but did you know that by the time you see a change in TSH you likely already have significant damage to your thyroid?
So if your doctor checks your thyroid by running only a TSH, push hard to also have, at minimum, your T4, T3 and thyroid antibodies checked.

Some people appear to be healthy on the outside. Often times people don’t even know when others are suffering silent illness(es). Sometimes outward symptoms of illness are just seen as a normal sign of aging or just genetics (symptoms related to either of these is not normal btw).
I was one of those people. I did not appear to be unhealthy except for my hair which no one ever really noticed…or at least never said anything about it. When I started myself on a healing journey, my hair was one of the first things I noticed changes in. Swipe through to see the progression of my hair growth. The last year has been amazing!

I recommend healing your gut first thing to address any absorption issues you may have. This could potentially be the sole reason why you would have nutrient deficiencies. Once you heal the gut, you can optimize your healing.

When on a healing journey, it's not just for you. You are changing behaviors that will be passed down to your children and their children. Your children (and even other family members) are watching and learning from you. What do you want others to learn from you? Are you doing those things yourself?
